Randle General Hospital honours deserving staff
The Chairman, Lagos State Health Service Commission, Dr Atinuke Onayiga has commended the dedication of the staff of Randle General Hospital, Surulere, noting that the hospital management, with the active support of the workforce, is doing a lot in positioning the hospital as a patient-friendly facility.
She gave the commendation during the retirement and presentation of awards ceremony organised to honour deserving staff of the hospital, stressing that the transfer of the hospital from Olowogbowo to Surulere many years ago, has yielded good results which is reflective of the high standard of healthcare services being offered now at the facility.
According to her, there is a need to periodically recognise members of staff who have done well, including retired staff, who have contributed their quotas to the growth and development of the hospital in 2022 instead of seeking greener pastures abroad.
In his remarks, Permanent Secretary, Health Service Commission, Dr. Ademuyiwa Benjamin Eniayewun, stated that the hospital has over the years become an important part of the Surulere community in view of its enhanced healthcare service delivery to the people by the efficient and dedicated workforce.
Eniayewun, therefore, enjoined the staff to keep up the good performances with more commitment and dedication to improved services, adding that this absolutely essential if the Randle General Hospital intends to keep its highly deserved reputation and high patronage towards the continued development of the facility.
The Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr. Olumide Sojinrin noted that the total commitment to duty by the staff has ensured that all patients of the Randle General Hospital receive the best medical attention and care.
Dr. Sojinrin also acknowledged the spirit of unity, oneness and friendliness among the workforce, attributing the improvement in the standard of operations at the hospital and quality care to the immense contributions of both retired and serving officials of the General Hospital.
