S’Court Verdict: APC Southwest Women Leader congratulates Abiodun, Salako-Oyedele

The All Progressive Congress (APC) Southwest Women Leader, Yetunde Adesanya, has described the judgement of the Supreme Court Panel that affirmed Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun and his Deputy, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele’s victory as a “welcome one”.

Adesanya said the judgment has finally settled the legal battle over the March 18th, 2023 Governorship election held in the state.

She said” lovers of democracy must commend the resilience of the judiciary in deepening the country’s democracy through its sound judgments.

“Southwest Women Leader now used the medium to officially congratulate Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele on their victory at the Supreme Court”.

She said the judgement has put to an end to the needless bickering, distractions and litigation that greeted the 2023 Governorship election, adding ” It is my hope that the opposition will team up with our Governor to move Ogun State forward in the overall interest of the state”.

She said that the victory was a “welcome one” that would further deepen the country’s electoral laws and judicial jurisprudence.
