Senate: Lagos Deputy Speaker, Eshinlokun makes INEC list

Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Wasiu Eshinlokun, was among names released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as senatorial candidates in the 2023 general elections.

Eshinlokun, who would be contesting the Lagos Central Senatorial seat with other candidates, is flying the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket to replace the wife of the party’s presidential candidate, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu.

Also, the former Managing Director of Polaris Bank and Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Sen. Tokunbo Abiru, and the former Deputy Governor of the state, Dr Idiat Adebule made the list.

Abiru and Adebule are flying the APC ticket in Lagos East and Lagos West respectively.
