Three southwest govs. attend Adeleke’s installation as Asiwaju of Ede

Governors of Oyo, Ogun and Lagos State on Monday attended the installation of Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke as the Asiwaju of Ede land.

The Governors; Seyi Makinde of Oyo, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun and Sanwo-Olu of Lagos were at the palace of Timi of Ede, Oba Muniru Lawal, Laminisa 1 to Grace the occasion.

Despite the political differences between Adeleke and the two neighboring Governor’s of Ogun and Lagos State, their presence added glamour to the occasion as many political feelers in Osun State applauded their presence.

Also, a former Governor of the State, Rauf Aregbesola sent representative to the occasion.

Some of political supporters who spoke to our correspondent under the condition of anonymity said the presence of the duo Governors of Ogun and Lagos State who are in different political party show Nigerian democracy is getting to maturity stage.

“Democracy is  taking tolls in Nigeria. Politics should be played in a brotherhood manner, which these two governors have showcase in Osun state on installation of Governor Adeleke as Asiwaju of Ede land “
