Tinubu appoints Otunba Aderemi Abdul, eight others to CREDICORP board

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Otunba Aderemi Abdul and eight other Nigerians to the Board of the Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation (CREDICORP).

A press statement issued by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, gave the names of the appointees as: Otunba Aderemi Abdul – Board Chairman (Independent Non-Executive Director); Engr. Uzoma Nwagba – Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer; Mrs. Aisha Abdullahi – Executive Director (Credit, Risk & Portfolio)/CRO and Ms. Olanike Kolawole – Executive Director (Operations)/COO.

Others are Dr. Armstrong Ume Takang – Non-Executive Director (MOFI Nominee); Dr. Peter Iwegbu – Non-Executive Director (NIMC Nominee); Mr. Mohammed Nasiru Abbas – Non-Executive Director (FMITI Nominee); Mr. Marvin Nadah – Non-Executive Director (FCCPC Nominee) and an FMF Representative – Non-Executive Director (FMF)

The statement added that President Tinubu anticipates that the new members would apply their extensive expertise, skill, and commitment to their roles to fulfil CREDICORP’s mission of expediting consumer credit access for millions of Nigerians.
