Tinubu hosts Super Eagles in Aso Rock

President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with  Nigeria’s national football team, the Super Eagles, in the State House Council Chambers.

On Tuesday at around 12:30 p.m., the crew arrived at the State House forecourt and were escorted to the council chambers.

The Cote d’Ivorian team known as “The Elephants” defeated Nigeria in the AFCON finals held on Sunday.

The team, the coach, the crew, and the entire management team were commended by Tinubu in a statement he released following the game for their “hard work, assiduity, and sacrifice to come this far in the tournament,” acknowledging the obstacles they continuously overcame with progressively better performance as they advanced to the finals.
