Tinubu back in Abuja after Sallah holiday

President Bola Tinubu on Monday returned to Abuja after spending the Sallah festive break in his home state of Lagos.

He arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 4 pm and was received by top government officials including the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje.

Earlier Westernpost had reported that Tinubu would be returning to the federal capital Territory (FCT) after spending a week-long holiday in Lagos. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State was present at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport to see him off.

“As President Bola Tinubu makes his way back to Abuja after spending the Sallah break in Lagos, we bid him farewell,” the Lagos governor wrote on his X handle.

During his visit to his Lagos, the President welcomed several dignitaries for Sallah homage, including governors and members of the National Assembly.
