A middle-aged man, Alhaji Abdulahi Obobo, who left Jos, Plateau State, 10 days ago, to see the winner of the 2023 Presidential Election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has arrived at Ekiti State.

Clad in orange top and yellow crash helmet, Obobo’s appearance and the different inscriptions on his bicycle arouse curiosity as he rode through towns and villages in Ekiti.

Speaking to this reporter in Aramoko on at exactly 1.23pm on Saturday, Obobo said he set out in Plateau State 10 days ago with the aim of traveling to Lagos to present his bicycle to Asiwaju Tinubu.

“My name is Abdulahi Obobo, I am from Plateau State. I was the person who recently travelled on bicycle to Saudi Arabia. I spent 1 year, 10 months to and from Saudi Arabia. Then came the offer to sell the bicycle for millions of naira but I declined that I would present it to whoever that won the Presidential Election. It’s on this note that I’m heading to Lagos to present the bicycle to Asiwaju Tinubu. It’s my 10th day and Insha Allah, I will reach Lagos in few days to come and honourably present this bicycle to our President-elect to put it in museum,” he said.
