UNIBEN students protest 3-week power outage
Students of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) have protested over a power outage that has been on for over three weeks and counting.
The students, who could not bear the resultant hardship from the outage any longer, decided to stage a protest on Wednesday morning by blocking the outbound route of the Lagos-Benin Expressway.
They said the stress has been unbearable.
All vehicles continued their journeys only on the inbound route of the expressway.
The main gate of the school was shutdown.
