Wizkid, Bloody Civilian made soundtrack for Bob Marley’s biopic

Two Nigerians, Wizkid and Bloody Civilian have made the final cut soundtrack for the late Bob Marley’s biopic, ‘One Love.’

The singer cum songwriters were listed as two of the seven global music stars that made the soundtrack of the film.

The list was recently released by giant U.S. film studio, Paramount Pictures as the biopic is scheduled for February 14 release.

Bloody Civilian’s ‘Natural Mystic,’ made the cut while Wizkid’s ‘One Love’ made the cut. Other music acts include Skip Marley with ‘Exodus,’ Daniel Caesar with ‘Waiting in Vain,’ Kacy Musgraves with ‘Three Little Birds,’ Jessie Reyez with ‘Is This Love,’ and Leon Bridges with ‘Redemption Song.’

British actor Kingsley Ben-Adir plays the reggae legend, Lashana Lynch plays Bob Marley’s wife Rita, while Jesse Cilio plays Bob’s dad Norval Marley, with James Norton as Island Records man Chris Blackwell.

Also in the cast are Tosin Cole, Michael Gandolfini, Nadine Marshall, and Anthony Welsh.
