The fire that engulfed part of Dosunmu Market on Lagos Island, resulting in the collapse of four buildings and severe damage to fourteen others.

Lagos Territorial Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Ibrahim Farinloye disclosed that the fire’s origin was suspected to be from the refueling of a running generator within the market premises.
