WAC appoints Nigerian Bishop as International communications director

The Patriarch of the Worldwide Anglican Church (WAC), Archbishop Christopher Lwanga Tusubira has announced the appointed of a Nigerian Bishop, Rt. Rev Seun Adeoye as its first International Communications Director.

Besides, Rt. Rev George Mentz of the United States of America (USA) has emerged as the new Chancellor of the 103 years old Church.

The announcements, according to Bishop Adeoye, were contained in a two separate statements issued by Archbishop Tusubira in Uganda,

Bishop Adeoye is the current Lead Bishop of the WAC in West Africa, the spokesman of World Bishops’ Council (WBC) in Africa and the founder of Sufficient Grace and Truth International Ministries based in Okinni, Osun State, Nigeria.

Bishop-Elect Mentz is a Professor of Law for a top ranked law school in USA and has worked as a White House Commissioner under Presidents Barrack Obama and Donald Trump and presently serves on the Government Airport Commission and Government Civil Service Commission.

Chancellor Mentz has been devoted to Anglican Communion for over 50 decades and holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence and an MBA degree from nationally accredited law schools and business schools along with a DSS Doctor of Spiritual Studies from the Emerson Institute.

He was ordained in the Metaphysical Interfaith Church and was licensed as a minister under the Episcopal Church and has authored over 80 books and audio books on spirituality, mysticism, metaphysics and self-help.

WAC was founded in 1921 and spreads across the globe, spanning four continents and presently in over 100 countries while the Church’s clergies come from Roman Catholic and Anglican seminaries, Methodist, Baptist and Pentecostal backgrounds.
