UK donates new building to NDLEA in Lagos

A new building has been donated by the British Deputy High Commissioner in Nigeria, Jonny Baxter, to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Lagos.

In a post via the official X handle of the agency, NDLEA disclosed the inauguration was held at the NDLEA’s Area Command in Ikeja on Monday

According to the agency, the new facility is slated to become a crucial center for data analysis and strategic planning in the agency’s efforts

Brig Gen Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd), Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the NDLEA, in his remarks, expressed gratitude to the UK government for their unwavering commitment and invaluable contributions.

He further highlighted the significance of this new infrastructure, emphasizing its potential to enhance the agency’s capacity in combating substance abuse and illicit drug trafficking across Nigeria.
