PHOTO NEWS: Akpabio, Fubara, Dangote, Obi, other dignitaries bid Wigwes farewell

Dignitaries which included Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, businessman, Aliko Dangote, River State Governor, Sim Fubara and Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi converged on Isiokpo, the ancestral hometown of later Access Bank Holdings Chief Executive, Herbert Wigwe in Rivers State to bid him, his wife Chizoba and son Chizi farewell.

Other prominent Nigerians at the funeral service which took place at Wigwe University auditorium included Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Akwa-Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, former Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, former CBN Governor and Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.

Wigwes died in a helicopter crash in United States of America about 3 weeks ago throwing the nation and the banking sector into mourning.
